The San Pedro Creek Study, also referred to as the Preliminary Engineering Report, developed architectural design and renderings of proposed concepts for a 1.5 mile stretch of San Pedro Creek through downtown. An additional .5 mile stretch was studied as part of a review and study of the creek’s existing floodplain. The site conditions, such as property-ownership, easements, roads, bridges, adjacent structures, topography and utilizes were also reviewed. An environmental site assessment was conducted in addition to a cultural resources survey. Based upon the information, an opinion of probable cost for improvements to the creek were established.
