Future Trail:
The continued Alazan Creek trail improvements begin at Lombrano Street where the half-mile trail extending from Woodlawn Park ended. The new extension of the trail will stretch from Lambrano Street to the confluence with Apache Creek just north of S. Laredo Street. This added amenity provides for safe pedestrian passage all the way to the San Pedro Creek trail which connects to the Mission Reach. The trail will complete the connection between Woodlawn Lake Park and the Mission Reach.
Design Completed: April 2019
Anticipated Construction Start: October 2019

Completed Trail:
The completed portion of the Alazan Creek Trail begins at the Woodlawn Lake Casting Pond on Josephine Tobin and extends approximately half a mile to Lombrano. This added amenity provides for safe pedestrian passage underneath Waverly and Culebra Streets. The trail also creates a connection between Woodlawn Lake Park and West End Park. Trail construction is complete and a grand opening celebration was held on June 18, 2016.
